The cost of electricity, water and local taxes are included in rental rates. There are no additional costs, surcharges, taxes, staff salaries, or management fees above the price quoted. Gratuities for household staff are encouraged and normal, but are left entirely to the Guest’s discretion.
Please note that cleaning charges are NOT included with your confirmed booking. Details are shown below of the daily/weekly rates which can be paid along with the initial booking payment or on arrival.
Damage or Losses
Please treat the Property accordingly, and leave it and its contents in good order and in an acceptably clean condition. The property is furnished and equipped to a high standard; damages and breakages must be reported and paid for and may be deducted from the Guest’s security deposit.
In cases of excessive loss or damage during the rental period, the Owner may require the Guest and their party to leave the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.
The owner, or other staff and contractors may need access to the Property from time to time (e.g. for maintenance purposes to the house, garden, swimming pool, utilities and services, or for the purposes of providing additional services requested by the Guest, etc.). The Guest is required to give them access to the Property for these purposes.
Number of Guests
The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the Property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation, unless authorized by the owner. Exceeding this number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused if the number of guests exceeds the confirmed booking.
Use of Property
All bookings are assumed to be for normal holiday purposes only, unless otherwise confirmed in writing. If the Guest is planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party, which involves having a larger number of people at the Property, the Guest must tell the Owner at the time of booking, as special arrangements may be required. A surcharge and/or additional security deposit may be required, which will be agreed and confirmed in writing prior to confirming the reservation.
Subletting is forbidden.
Private Chefs and Catering Providers
A private chef can be arranged by the owner. Keys to the property must not be given to any third party contractor etc.
Conduct and Care
The Property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and guests are asked to respect this. Illegal or immoral activities including gambling, prostitution, prohibited drugs, possession or use of pyrotechnics or dangerous goods, and possession or use of firearms and other weapons are strictly prohibited.
Valuables and Security
The owner accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to Guest property. The Guest is responsible for the Property during the Rental Period, and must ensure that all windows and doors are locked securely when not on the premises.
Safety Deposit Box
A safety deposit box with code and key is available. It is recommended that it be used to store valuable items such as passports, cash, traveller’s checks, mobile phone, cameras, and jewellery. Any valuables left at the property are the Guests’ sole responsibility; the owner accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage of personal property. The Owner will not be held liable for any third-party contractors wrongful doing.
Charging cables, smartphones, tablets and other small or bigger size electrical devices are forbidden close to the pool area, because of the possible risk of an electric shock. Children must be accompanied at all times. A lifeguard is not provided.
Every attempt will be made for the Guest to have an enjoyable stay. If the Guest should have a problem during the Rental Period, please inform the Owner who will immediately try to find a solution. The Guest must communicate any problem whilst on location. If no complaint is reported during the Rental Period, the Owner will assume that the Property was to the Guest’s satisfaction.
Provisions and consumables necessary for daily living can be arranged and purchased by the owner. A welcome pack is provided free-or-charge. Additional provisions will be paid by the guest.
Changes to arrival/departure due to natural causes or labour disputes
The Owner cannot be held liable for refunding if the booking, arrival time etc is changed due to reasons outside the owner’s control. This could include natural disasters, fire, extreme weather conditions, labour disputes etc
This agreement is governed by the Greek Data Protection laws and regulations along with the General Data Protection Regulation.
The Guest agrees that these terms and conditions have been read, understood and have been accepted and agreed to by the Guest without reservation and without exception.
